Here are the results of the post position draw for the 2015 Preakness Stakes #140.

International Star is a Michael Maker trained colt who's riding a win streak into the Kentucky Derby that includes the G3 Lecomte, G2 Risen Star, and the G2 Louisiana Derby. Despite the dominating run, he's not getting the recent attention that the Baffert and Pletcher stables seem to be attracting. However, he currently sits atop the leaderboard and is working out at Churchill Downs in anticipation for May 2.

Mubtaahij is the Sheikh Mohd al Maktoum owned winner of the G2 UAE Derby. His 100 points guarantee him a post for the Kentucky Derby, a race he's currently prepping for at Arlington Park.

Materiality is an undefeated Afleet Alex sired colt trained by Todd Pletcher. His wins include the Islamorada and the G1 Florida Derby. Despite his dominating performances, he's still relatively inexperienced, having only run in three races all as a three-year old.

El Kabeir is a Scat Daddy sired colt who won the G2 Kentucky Jockey Club, G3 Jerome Stakes, and the G3 Gotham. He finished third in the G1 Wood Memorial and has more than enough points to Run for the Roses. Terranova currently has him training at Belmont Park.

Dortmund is a undefeated colt in the Bob Baffert stable. His wins include the G1 Los Alamitos Futurity, the G2 Robert B. Lewis Stakes, the G2 San Felipe Stakes, and the G1 Santa Anita Derby. He's been winning in dominant fashion and looks prepped for a big race in Kentucky. He's currently training at Santa Anita and jockey Marty Garcia liks what he sees.

Carpe Diem is another contender out of Todd Pletcher's stable. He's never finished lower than second and won the G1 Breeders Futurity, G2 Tampa Bay Derby, and G1 Blue Grass Stakes. Carpe Diem is currently working out under jockey John Velazquez and, so far, Pletcher likes what he sees.

American Pharoah is a Pioneerof The Nile colt trained by Bob Baffert. He's the winner of the G1 Del Mar Futurity, G1 FrontRunner, G2 Rebel Stakes, and, most recently, the G1 Arkansas Derby.

Itsaknockout is a Todd Pletcher trained colt who won his first three races, including a victory in the G2 Fountain of Youth. He finished 4th in the G1 Florida Derby, but has a enough points to make a Run for the Roses. Itsaknockout is currently working out in Florida with G1 Hopeful Stakes winner Competitive Edge in preparation for the Derby.
