2012 Blue Grass Stakes Field and Breakdown

One thing this year's Blue Grass has is an abundance of talented horses. This mob of equine athletes is lead by the great Tapit colt, Hansen. Unfortunately, Hansen isn't much of a bet at 6-5. Although I'd like to see him win, I won't be betting him alone. If I use Hansen it will be to build trifectas and superfectas with horses like Heavy Breathing, Prospective, Dullahan, and Howe Great. Scatman deserves a look as well. Although he may have a holy helluva time with the distance, my longshot is the Candy Ride colt, Holy Candy. The Blue Grass offers even more ways than the Arkansas Derby to hunt down that big payoff we all want and love.
