Noble Moon is a Malibu Moon and Mambo Bell colt. Malibu Moon is an A.P. Indy colt who has carried on the family tradition as a great sire. His son, a brother to Noble Moon, Orb, is last year's Kentucky Derby winner.

He's slated to run in the Wood Memorial, one of the top Kentucky Derby prep races, this weekend but he'll face some stiff competition, including the undefeated Samraat. His performance in the Wood will determine whether he makes the cut, but his pedigree is solid and he's one to watch.
