Hear the Ghost is a Ghostzapper and Rehear Gelding. He won the San Felipe (G2), but unfortunately his trip to the Kentucky Derby was cut short by a knee injury.

Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer would not commit saying, "I don't think we're going to run. But it's not official yet."

So, with that news, he's off the short list. Tomorrow we move on to Verrazano.
