Itsaknockout is a Todd Pletcher trained colt who won his first three races, including a victory in the G2 Fountain of Youth. He finished 4th in the G1 Florida Derby, but has a enough points to make a Run for the Roses. Itsaknockout is currently working out in Florida with G1 Hopeful Stakes winner Competitive Edge in preparation for the Derby.
"It was a good, progressive breeze," Pletcher said of the workout. "They picked it up as they went along and they galloped out well. I was happy with it."
His finish in the Florida Derby was disappointing, especially as a 2-1 early line favorite. However, he could be a sleeper in the Derby and will make his way into some of our exotics.
