Daddy Long Legs is a Scat Daddy and Dreamy Maiden colt. He has three wins in five career starts, including a win in the UAE Derby at Meydan. Aidan O'Brien is putting his eggs in this basket choosing to run Daddy Long Legs in the Kentucky Derby instead of Wrote. Unfortunately, I don't think that's going to be pay for him.
Of his three wins, two of them came on Turf and the other on synthetic. In fact, his only race on dirt was in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Churchill Downs and he finished a miserable 12th. He also hasn't put a lot of work in this year, his only race as a three year old has been the UAE Derby. Right now Daddy Long Legs won't make my short list.
