Candy Boy is a Candy Ride sired colt trained by John Sadler. He won the Robert B. Lewis Stakes at Santa Anita in early February but his opportunity to run in Kentucky will come down to his start in the Santa Anita Stakes this weekend.

Sadler has never won the Kentucky Derby but he's high on Candy Boy. His jockey, Gary Stevens, likes his odds too, "Yes, he's the No. 1 draft choice for me."
