The Truth or Else is a Yes It's True and Lakenhealth colt trained by Ken McPeek. He's got a lot of mileage already for a young horse, making 4 attempts at breaking his maiden. He followed that up with third place finishes in the G1 Champagne and G2 Nashua. Despite only finishing first once, jockey Calvin Borel likes this horse.
"He's a nice colt and he's developing," Borel said afterward. "I see a big future for him."
He's currently set to run in the Arkansas Derby. Unless he makes a big showing in that race, we don't expect to see him make the first Saturday in May.
