Bold Conquest is a Curlin and One For Jim colt trained by Steve Asmussen. He placed in his last race, the G2 Rebel Stakes, and is currently set to run in the Arkansas Derby. Like all Derby prep races, this will be an important one for Bold Conquest.
Curlin, Bold Conquest's sire, is a former Horse of the Year winner and Palace Malice, Bold Conquest's brother, won the 2013 Belmont Stakes. The Arkansas Derby will be a great test for this horse.
