Jordy Y and Honey Chile were among 13 horses entered in the Lassie, one of two Grade 3, $100,000, one-turn-mile Polytrack races for 2-year-olds at Arlington on Saturday. The Lassie goes as race 8, the Futurity as race 6.

The trainer Greg Geier has sent out a grand total of one winner from 20 starters during the 2010 Arlington Park race meet, with Country Flavor scoring an upset victory in the Grade 3 Hanshin Cup on May 29.

Saturday, trainer Mike Stidham tapped Cisco Torres to ride American Derby favorite Workin for Hops. Torres put a perfect ride on his pick-up mount, who proved much the best as the favorite in the Grade 2, $200,000 turf race for 3-year-olds.
