A decision on whether Zenyatta will start in the $300,000 Clement Hirsch Stakes at Del Mar on Aug. 7 will be made before entries are due on Wednesday, and indications are that the undefeated two-time champion will start in that Grade 1 race.

Enriched will return in Saturday's $200,000 San Diego Handicap at Del Mar, just seven days after finishing third in the Grade 1 Eddie Read Stakes on turf.

Patrick Valenzuela was winless with three mounts at Del Mar on Wednesday, his first day of riding in California since December 2007.
