Gun Runner settled in perfectly Thursday night at Gulfstream and was sent through an easy gallop Friday as final preparations begin for the likely Horse of the Year to make the last start of his brilliant career next Saturday in the Pegasus World Cup.

Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Ark., has canceled Friday's nine-race program due to the effect of freezing temperatures since Monday night.
