Ken and Sarah Ramsey's International Star, winner of the Jan. 17 LeComte Stakes and Feb. 21 Risen Star at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots, will attempt to keep his winning streak alive March 28 in the $750,000 Louisiana Derby.

Upstart is tabbed the 8-5 morning-line favorite for the $1 million Besilu Stables Florida Derby March 28 Gulfstream Park. Eight opponents include Itsaknockout, to whom he lost last time out via disqualification.

Morton Fink's two-time Horse of the Year Wise Dan is progressing well since he returned to tack-walking at Keeneland at the beginning of March, but the chestnut gelding will require 30 more days in recovery before he can go to the track.

Shared Belief will make his first start outside of California in the $1.5 million Charles Town Classic April 18, co-owner Jim Rome said March 25.
