S.S. Stone won his fourth consecutive race of the meet when he persevered past Colizeo in upper stretch and then held off Jackson Bend to take the Grade 3, $100,000 Skip Away Stakes by two lengths at Gulfstream Park.
Speedster Little Mike played the bully once again on the Gulfstream Park turf, tallying in the $100,000 Emirates Airlines Appleton Stakes April 3 for his third Grade 3 win of the meet.
E. Paul Robsham Stables' homebred Travelin Man made his move to the lead at the top of the stretch and drew clear to a comfortable two-length victory in Sunday's Grade 2 Swale Stakes at Gulfstream Park.
