Marketing Mix, coming off a tough loss in the Beverly D Stakes (gr. IT) last month, takes on 12 Southern California-based fillies and mares in the $250,000 Rodeo Drive Stakes at Santa Anita Park Sept. 29.

Zayat Stables' Justin Phillip, a close second in his last two graded attempts in New York, was installed the 3-1 morning line favorite for the $400,000 Vosburgh Invitational Stakes.
Ostensibly a prep for the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile, Saturday's Grade 2, $400,000 Kelso Handicap.
