Garrett Gomez, who took off his six riding assignments at Santa Anita Park Oct. 6 due to a missed flight from Kentucky, will be off his mounts for the remainder of the week pending a hearing before track stewards.

The final Breeders' Cup "Win & You're In" challenge event for 2013 brings together a well-matched field of 11 in the $300,000 Nearctic Stakes on the turf Oct. 13 at Woodbine.
