Nine days after Guillermo Berrios' My Wandy's Girl won the Nov. 15 Pentelis Stakes in her introduction to racing in the continental 48 states, her connections decided to wheel her back for a stiffer test -- the $350,000 Gazelle Stakes.

Hoping to burnish her credentials for a possible run at Horse of the Year honors, Fred and Buff Bradley will send their Groupie Doll out to tackle boys Nov. 24 in the $350,000 Cigar Mile Handicap at Aqueduct Racetrack.

The French horse racing federation says jockey Frankie Dettori has been suspended from racing in France, based on medical grounds following a positive drug test.
