Favored Take Charge Brandi registered her second Grade 1 win of the year and third graded victory in a row when she captured the $350,000 Starlet Stakes for 2-year-old fillies by a neck Dec. 13 at Los Alamitos Race Course.

Repole Stable's Micromanage returned to the dirt Dec. 13 and overpowered 6-5 favorite Vyjack in the $100,000 Queens County Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack, rallying five wide into the stretch before securing the victory by 1-1/4 lengths.

Jockey Javier Castellano notched his first winner at the Gulfstream Park meeting Dec. 13 when he rallied Merry Meadow from just off the pace to post a 1-1/4-length victory in the $100,000 Sugar Swirl Stakes.
