The $400,000 stakes is a "Win and You're In" race for the TVG Breeders' Cup Mile Nov. 5 at Churchill Downs.
Saturday, a solid group of similarly minded juveniles will line up for the 141st running of the $300,000 Champagne, one of two Grade 1 "Win and You're In" races at Belmont for the upcoming Breeders' Cup at Churchill Downs.
Reigning Illinois-bred Horse of the Year and multiple Grade 1 winner Giant Oak heads a field of 10 for the 75th running of the Grade 2, $500,000 Hawthorne Gold Cup on Saturday.
Breeders' Cup Ltd., along with Zenyatta owners Jerry and Ann Moss, announced Tuesday the launch of the inaugural Breeders' Cup Zenyatta Celebration, to be held Championship Friday, November 4, at the Kentucky Derby Museum.

Life At Ten, the two-time Grade 1 winner whose last-place finish in the 2010 Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic created one of the year's biggest controversies, has been retired from racing.
Cape Blanco, who withstood a tenacious challenge for a game victory in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational Oct. 1, has been retired due to an injury sustained in the race over yielding turf at Belmont Park.

Following a distant eighth in the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes last out, Gold Mark Farm's Vexor wasn't given much chance in Belmont Park's $150,000 Nashua Stakes and was sent off the 18-1 longest shot in the six-juvenile field.
