Tizway has been looking for his career-defining win for the past three years. It came in decisive fashion on Memorial Day at Belmont Park, as he opened up in the stretch and rolled to a 2 3/4-length victory in the Grade 1, $500,000 Metropolitan Handicap.

Sassy Image made her win in the grade I Humana Distaff look easy earlier this month at Churchill Downs, but she was pushed to the limit by longshot Beat the Blues May 30 before prevailing by a neck in the Grade 3 Winning Colors.
The May 29 live racing program at Arlington Park was canceled following the second race when the jockeys chose not to ride, the track announced.
