Rough Sailing, who slipped and fell going into the first turn of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, had to be euthanized shortly after the race because of a broken shoulder, according to Hilary Pridham, assistant to trainer Mike Stidham.

Dubai Majesty turned an apparently well matched Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint into a one-horse race, dashing away from Champagne d'Oro and easily holding off second-place Switch to win the $1 million race by about two lengths.
