Woodlands Racetrack features both horse and greyhound races, with wagering booths for the more adventurous audience members. The clubhouse caters to large parties of upto 500 people and offers a full bar and extensive list of food items, with the option to create your own menu. This venue also hosts an entertaining 'Wiener Dog Race' every year that is a favorite among families all around Kansas City.

The Woodlands racetrack has been closed with all live racing and simulcasting ceasing as of August 23, 2008
